John Cena appears to be of the opinion that Vince McMahon would actually be open to the idea of bringing back recent UFC fighter and former longtime WWE Superstar CM Punk.
The folks at TMZ recently caught up with the WWE Superstar and active SmackDown Live roster member, who had the following to say about the possibility of McMahon welcoming back Punk to the WWE family:
“If I know one thing about my boss Vince McMahon, he always does what’s good for business, if it’s good for business it will work out,” Cena said. “The name in the question doesn’t matter about that, if it’s good for business it’ll work out.”
Punk last appeared inside the Octagon fighting in his professional MMA debut, as he lost to Mickey Gall at the UFC 203 pay-per-view event last month in Cleveland, Ohio.
