See 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' Cast 25 Years Later: Photos

Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” is officially 25 years old. Although the animated Disney film was first released in theaters on Oct. 29, 1993, it has since spawned countless re-releases from a 3-D version to various special editions.

At the time of its theatrical release, “The Nightmare Before Christmas” was a major risk for Disney to take, as it was much darker in comparison to any other work previously released. Twenty-five years later, the film has legions of devoted fans and the iconic characters have become familiar faces in modern pop culture.

In honor of this milestone anniversary, we’ve rounded up some fun facts from the cult classic and invite you to take a look at what the original voice cast has been up to all this time. A few may shock you.
